Help with animation

Hi experts,
I ran into a problem with an animation, and decided to scrap it. The decision was easy, but I did not succeed implementing it.
I vaguely remember from the past that removing all keys did it, but this time it did not work. No matter what I did, the animation prevailed.
All I want is 12 frames all identical to the first. Is this too much to ask for?

If you want to clear all animation, right-click on the tab of the Parameters pane and use the Clear Animation sub-menu

OK, this cleared indeed the animation, but it also changed the first frame (I cleared the figure pose). I want to leave the first frame intact, and make all subsequent frames identical to it.

If you arrange your figure the way that you want it in frame 1, then go to frame 12 and add a keyframe, all twelve frames should be the same, as long as you don't move the figure. Not really an animation as such, since nothing will move for twelve frames.

you can save only the first frame by save as pose preset.. (select range)
or if you use pupettie, you can record it as dot.

(nowdays I do not use pupettier,, but it can do it . I do not remember,, the dot save shape too or not,,
ds changed the way,, when version up I think)

if you have animated morph value,, you may need to save shape or character preset of first frame too.

then clear all animation, as Richard said.
after that,, at first frame,, apply the saved pose preset. and shape preset if you need.

and Jimmy said,, yes it can work as same..
but after you add key on 0 and 12 keep same poze,
you may change poze on another frame. eg 20 . then set key.

after that,, you check animation,, actually the 0 poze and 12 poze are same,
but when you slide 0 to 12 current frame, the figure (or obj) slightly move

ds may auto make smooth curve so that 0 to 11 can not be Linea. though frame 0 and 11 is same poze.

so that you may better , on 11 frame set key which is same as 0 and 12
it keep the same poze 0 to 12 on all frames I believe.

Jimmy and Kita thank you for your suggestions and patience. Maybe it is time to include in DAZ a decent animation editor which will be able to implement elementary operations such as add/delete/move keyframes, specify the number of interpolated frames between any two adjacent keyframes etc.

I usually and always strongly recommend to get key mate and graph mate
when someone try animation with daz studio and daz timeline.
(I seldom recommend products which need to buy ^^;)
    http://www.youtube.com/user/ammgofigure/videos

then,, it is my understanding,, so that I do not know it is right or not,,
when I apply poze or tweak node,, DS auto record key about each node,
    but,,other parts do not record.

so if you believe,, you set key1 on 10 genesis, then go to frame 20, tweak poze,, then set key,
the poze on frame 10 change..

so that,, I make rule,, when tweak poze, and hope to record the poze on the key,
I must select all Nodes of genesis, by (select children) . then set key.
it can set all key about all node, at same time. then record value.
I do not know,, if there is more clever way or not,, but it is most reliable way.

but about morph parameter value,, we need another way,,, (I can not tell you well, sorry,,)

key mate show me clear what I record on each key frame.
and graph mate show me each value as graph . (yes,, only key mate is not so very useful I think ^^;)

so If I made mistake,, I can modify each key. or delete what I want by these tool.
of course you can copy and paste several key at once. and slide , move keys.
and you can change key type too.

(But I think,, when slide key in key mate,, the key a little bit slide
where I hope to be,, so delete and copy and paste to modify such slide keys)

I was perfect new about animation, so that daz timeline was too difficult for me
to understand. and animate2 timeline is different from daz timeline.
these conbination without clear guide, made me crazy untill understand some basic.

(these two plug in can be more user friendly, if many user use them and
    report go-figure, I believe. )

    Now I really hope go-figure release Animate 3 for genesis figure with more tools ^^;
