I think we need more variety in the zombies. Not all zombies have complete bodies nor do they have all of their skin. We need zombies missing parts and maybe with internal organs hanging out, or half of the body, etc.

I agree, we need a wave of goreish products going much beyond than before.
I want like in the old anime Akira movie, wired organic nerves and veins of the body to pose for cyberpunk drama. Also tons of internal organs poseables.
I wouldn't mind seeing some bones.
When I was playing a videogame called Darkwood, just noticed we don't have low poly heavily wounded corpses and skelletons of dogs, horses, lamps, deers, cows, birds or kids. It would be good to have a series of low poly corpses, like this other series on flock of doves, butterflies, crows...

I was thinking more, the Zombie's arm is rotted to the point that the bones are showing. Or the stomach exposes the ribcage area.
A lower limbs are so mangled that the bone is sticking through and he's dragging a leg.
I had most of his bone collection wish listed, but somehow I solved this. I tend to think I own an environment that has a pile of bones or something similar.
(There's some set with a partial skeleton prop or something......)
What I usually had to do was insert one of those skeleton characters (Michael X with the full anatomy set) and then turn off a limb on the zombie and do the flesh parts in post.
I know I have a few bloody/bone-y-meaty shaders.
And the dinosaur guy made dinosaur guts and meat bits that's useful for a zillion applications.
Oh I see what you're after. Yes, that would be cool. I think in order to pull something like that off, one would need to make a geograft I think, where whatever "whole" body part is removed and the "corrupt" body part, with all its lovely bones and goo showing through. Hmmm... I might need to mention this to Orestes.
Some products have a built in script that makes the limb-parts opacity go to zero.
Cyborg products do this. There's a cyber arm, that when applied, leaves the real arm there, just invisible.
The mermaid tail and demon succubus/snake add-on does this too.
AND - I think The AntFarm cyber-head does that too.

If it's listed, I think you get a "Hide _____" setting that you can slide or toggle.
It's pretty easy to hide something. Mostly it's done by increasing the opacity on whatever body part you want in the surface tab and then parenting a prop over it that has the surface settings you want.
What I'm talking about is using the geograft technology to physically remove body parts and at the same time pop on the gory bits. It's actually not too difficult to do. In fact, I'm working on a set of faery wings at the moment that will use this (as opposed to just making a parented prop of the wings.) Geografts give you a lot more functionality with rigging. The downside to this technique, however, is that it limits you to only being able to use the base figure texture included with whatever set carries the geograft (meaning you can't use a different character's skin and have it match exactly the skin texture on the geograft.) But with careful planning, I think geografts can open a whole range of possibilities on making partial zombie bodies.
This is some thing I would buy and have been waiting for a long time, its not to hard to add blood but its the actual decaying and exposed bones , internal organes and stuff is a lot more difficult. I know there is one over at Renderosity I think by Powerage that does some of this .
FeralFey if you doing fairy wings would you consider doing an 'organic backpack' ie a snail-fairy? and a slug-centaur that viscosity side of fairiy world :D thanks you
