In DS4.6, using Autofit with template Skirt>Knee Lenght, I get a missing file message: /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Tools/Projection Templates/Skirt Knee Length/UV Sets/DAZ 3D/Skirt Knee Length/default.dsf

Is that the only one that you get that error with, I would be surprised if it is?
It looks like your library that holds the data folder may not be listed properly. I installed DS4.6, and I have that file in my data folder, I just checked. Where did you install your Genesis content to, and is it listed in the Content Directory Manager? Can you post a screenshot of that please?
Yes, it's the only template that gives the problem, other templates works ok.
In the folder of projection templates I haven't such file neither the path specified in error message.
I don't use Content Manager
You may need to re-install genesis starter essential (newest version)14812 for ds 4.6 I think.
in web Product index,, there seems no clear update news,,
but, genesis starter essential file list, show all files packaged in this product,
there are tmeplate files as you mentioned.
I used DIM to install contents, and in my directory,
I can find all projection template files. then when use auto-fit,, there is no problem.
\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Tools\Projection Templates\Skirt Knee Length\UV Sets\DAZ 3D\Skirt Knee
Length\default.dsf
(I copied path from downloaded file list ,,)
I don't use DIM, installed by .exe file.
My folder "\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Tools\Projection Templates\Skirt Knee Length\UV Sets\DAZ 3D\Skirt Knee
Length\" is empty
There must be an error in the EXE installer.
I just checked in the ZIP file I downloaded with the DIM, and it is in there. You don;t need to use the DIM to install content, you can just use it to download products if that is all you want from it.
Yes, there is surely an error in .EXE file: I tried reinstalling and the file is missing again...
What you could do, is to download the ZIP file in the meantime, and just extract the missing file, or even reinstall the whole content again. The alternative is to wait for a fix, and you would need to open a Support ticket to let them know that the file is missing from the EXE installer. It will need to be fixed at some stage, but it may take a few days at least.
Ah,,, , the EXE installer missing file.
I download and instlall contents by EXE from my account, to test dirctory,
then there is not the default.dsf in the directory .
I have Send bug report to mantis . you may better try download DIM zip.
and manually copy and paste files in Contents, I think.
Ok! Thanks for the help!
I looked into this and found that there is a limitation in path lengths that we bumped into. There were 3 other files that didn't make it into the installers as well, due to the path being too long when I built the installers.
Simply by moving the files to a new location and rebuilding the installers, this issue is now resolved. Try downloading the installer again in about 1 hour and seeing if that resolves the issue for you.
Downloaded, now there is the file. Thanks!
Could be a similar issue in other .exe installers?
