Can't seem to place an item in my cart

Hi everyone,
While trying to take advantage of a sale here at Daz, I wanted to use the opportunity to buy something I've always wanted. But it won't go into my cart.
I click on the "Add To Cart" button, and I get a message saying "The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1". My cart is empty, and I've never purchased this item before. Does anyone know what's up, and how I can get around this to purchase the thing before the sale is over?

    I was having issues with adding things to my cart just now as well. Doing a simple Ctrl + F5 to refresh seemed to work.

    You probably added into the shopping cart, while not logged in. It won't show it's in the cart, but if you add another item while you're logged in, it'll show up.

    Edit. Vaskania beat me to it, and it's a better solution than mine.
