I would like a set of full sleeve+shoulder tattoos and full body tattoos.

I wondering how they can afford them given the cost of one average sized tatoo on my bicep 25 years ago. Maybe there is a volume discount.

I suspect many tattoo parlor accept credit card these days.

I agree with this, and have a few ideas that I'm considering working on in between other projects.

That meminds me when I was having my tatoo made a married couple came in to give their 3 year old a tattoo. It was a fake tattoo though so no worries.   laugh

This is in the store for Genesis 3, but works fine with Gen 8  https://www.daz3d.com/inked-vol-12-the-full-bodysuit-for-genesis-3-male-s

What I'd light is a product with a large collection of smaller traditional tattos that could be placed in all the traditions places tattoos typically were placed. True it'd be easy to do it myself with LIE or maybe decals but I'm no sure which of LIE or decals would be better.

I know that for some reason tattoos in DAZ renders to me look mostly like postwork rather than what a tattoo on the skin is supposed to look like.

It,s pretty easy to Goggle the images you like and place them directly on your texture maps ... Especially if they don’t cross seams... then using a combination of layer blending, a little blurring, etc to get them to look the way you like...... just takes a few minutes and you’ll have the new texture maps to use whenever needed.

OK, I think I'll do that and/or try LIE too for learning purposes. Thanks.

My own opinion, of course, but what I'm beginning to see is that Diffuse Overlay seems to work a bit better for tattoos than LIE does. With Owen's tattoos, Diffuse Overlay seems to allow the bump and normal textures to come through more. No idea why.

I don't understand Decals tll that well. Maybe they'd also react better to bump and normal than LIE, assuming you can place them easily enough.

Thanks, I will try Diffuse Overlay too.
