there are several tails for genesis... at least one (probably two) cat tails, a lizard/reptile tail or two and probably more.

What in particular are you looking for?

There are no standalone tails in store, they are sold as a part of several Genesis sets. MAB and Will Dupre have some such items - Popobawa for Genesis (demon tail), Foxy and Wolfie for Genesis (fox & wolf tail), ToonyTigers for Genesis and Catgirl Genesis (cat tail).

Raw Bacon by RawArt has a very adaptable pig tail that (independant object) is straight and morphs into curls. It would make a good rat or devil tail too. It comes in several colors including green. Flesh and pink. Needs hair - look at my hair, mod.

I've got a conforming bunny ears/tail set at Rendo. I've also got a conforming cat ears/tail awaiting finalization of the LAMH fur presets, since Alessandro kindly offered to help me get .duf versions of them made. It will be offered to DAZ and I think it's likely they will take it, but if they don't, it'll be at Rendo, too.

There is the standalone tail that is compatible with many figures, it's Flesh Forge's HyperTail. Just google it, it is only about $6.

I have used it with Genesis, it has many dials and you can just drop the texture of the figure to the tail and the material settings. You can shorten the tail and make it into several tail forms, such as devil, fox, bony, etc.

You should parent the tail to Genesis' hip and then pose it in place and you should be good to go.

Pretty much most of the tails that I have used are for V4 and M4 and all I have to do is parent them to Genesis' hip and I haven't had any issues.

Here is a render of a Genesis figure with the tail I bought many moons ago from the Victoria 4.2 Creature Creator pack.
