insufficient delta values

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I get this error message when trying to use the Salome character. Specifically when I try to add the chest item. Log file:

Importing Chest.cr2 ...
Reading SalomeChest.obj
Insufficient delta values supplied on line 669115 in C:/_3DS/_ps/Clothes/runtime/libraries/character/VaL Salome/Chest.cr2
Time to load file: 3802.83 ms
WARNING: elements\joints\dzlegacyjointrotator.cpp(36): NULL driver for joint parameters in DzLegacyJointRotator::DzLegacyJointRotator()
Failed to import: C:/_3DS/_ps/Clothes/runtime/libraries/character/VaL Salome/Chest.cr2
Operation failed

part of the item loads but is unusable and can't be modified. I am using Daz 4.6. All other items load without a problem. Any way to fix this? I tried looking at the file with cr2editor, and notepad, but without knowing what I'm looking for I can't fix it. I am using V4 and have morphs ++, but tried it on the V4 base but get same error.

Man, I've been meaning to buy that since forever! o_O I think it works properly in Poser, though, or there would have been an outcry, so I'd say there is a space character where DS doesn't like it, perhaps at the end of the line # 669115 or 669114.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the file for something along those lines, at least it's a start and maybe I'll get lucky!

I dl'd a version of poser and tried loading Salome in it, and everything works fine. Too bad I don't really know how to use the program! I've only used DAZ for less than a year on and off, and poser not at all. This is probably the wrong place to ask, but is there a way to create the Salome figure, add the clothes then save the entire figure fully clothed, then load it back into DAZ? It's a great figure, and would like to use it in DAZ if possible. Thanks for any help on this!
