Hi!

Thought I should point out that the Install Manager does not download Subsurface Shader Base.
This is the second time that has happened to me now in a shorter period of time, that the Install Manager misses parts of your purchased products. Last time it was parts of the Luxrender kit.

Solution - go to your account, Product Library and download it manually!

Think I just should point it out if someone has the same problem, after all I spent 4 hours of tearing my hair at it.

Because this is a plugin rather than the preset I did mine manually from the content library and that worked fine

The latest version of DIM will download plug-ins although I believe the IM00014811-02_InstallManagerDefaultFilters.zip has to be installed also.

Yes, I also have the Install Manager Default filter and the Subsurface Shader Base installed fine using DIM for me so that may have something to do with it.

    Cheers :)

Due to the way that the caching mechanism works, in order for it to be able handle the volume of requests it receives, the availability of some packages (i.e. Subsurface Shader Base) in Install Manager that were previously unassociated with a previously ordered product (i.e. DAZ Studio Pro) had to be staggered. Priority in making those packages available through Install Manager has been given to those accounts with recent activity; i.e. the cache for accounts with recent orders is [dynamically] rebuilt when a new order is processed. Those of you that have made recent orders should already see "Subsurface Shader Base" in Install Manager, while those that haven't may not until the load is back down to a level that allows less active accounts to bubble up in the queue.

    -----

The latest version of Install Manager (1.0.1.59) adds functionality that allows it to handle packages that install like software and packages that install like plugins. The "Luxus" product provides a total of 5 packages; 1 for content, and 4 for the plugin itself - 1 each for Windows and Mac, 32-bit and 64-bit. The initial public version of Install Manager (1.0.0.112) could not properly process packages that install like plugins, and so the latter 4 packages where not made available to it. As stated above, the latest version of Install Manager can install said packages, so have been made available to it.

That being said, the work to make such packages available via Install Manager is ongoing. The vast majority of products have been converted, but we have certainly not converted them all. There are roughly 16,500 products currently in the DAZ store (not all are displayed), and the conversion process is a manual one.

    -----

The "Install Manager Default Filters" package is completely separate from either of those mentioned above, and is not required in any way that relates to either one.
