Transfer Utillity not working any more in 4.6

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I've done this many times in 4.5 and upgraded to 4.6 and no more worky...

I have a teen character that I made a geograph for as I've always done in the past and when I use the TU, I set (Source = Genesis), (Shape = Current), (Target = "The Object to be Transferred") and under Show Options, a check mark in "Reverse source shape from target" The result looks as though it applied double the morph to the transferred object if I select fit to source. if I uncheck fit to source figure at the bottom of the TU, it transfers ok and looks as it should but as soon as I go to parameters tab and again fit to Genesis, it again ends up a little smaller and lower in the seen. I hope I just forgot to do something.

Sounds as if the reverse step isn't working - if it lines up with the morphed figure when not fitted then it still has the morph embedded. Scale can be the real problem, if there's scaling applied try exporting a morphed bu unscaled Genesis and using that as a guide to adjust your GeoGraft to fit, then try running that through the TU.

    Thanks for the response.
It does seem to have something to do with scaling. The morphed only figure had the same problem so I tried it again with a stock Genesis figure and all worked fine. I'll have to go back and make sure I didn't inadvertently apply some kind of scaling.
