How Did They Do This? Gummy & Plastics Shaders

I'm curious about the glowing effects on the promo pictures where the energy from the chest, palms and etc. seem to be emitting light, sort of what you can do with Reality. For quick reference the store page is here Gummy & Plastics. Was this promo done in native DAZ, or did they photoshop the effect in? Or was it something simple like Reality, I can do it easily through reality and making them actual lights, but to save render time I'd like to know how to pull the effect off in DAZ if possible. I'm rather enjoying these presets and look forward to buying the toon shaders at a later time (next payday). In my instance I'm trying to apply the same glowing effect to Bot Genesis' spine lights.

My guess is turning those surfaces into uberarea lights, but I could be wrong.
Looks to me like it's just the Blue Glow shader for the Supersuit, which acts as it's own light source (comes in the bundle or the SciFi pack.) I haven't had time to load up 4.6 yet, but here's a render I did a while back using the Red Glow shader from the same set.
Edit: Note, it's not just the red lights on the Minoton that are done with the shader, all of the rest of the red light in the scene is being generated by the same shader applied in the pit, so if you're careful with your lighting, you really can light a scene with it.
It is the ambient setting in AoA's subsurface shader. When utilized, it will make a surface appear to glow, and that glow will propagate somewhat through adjacent surfaces that are also using the subsurface shader in the same "subsurface group ID".
In the documentation for the subsurface shader, check out the section on the ambient setting:

hmm.. uberarea lights, I hadn't thought about that! I completely forgot about the area lights. I tried it out, it does work some, it'd work nicely in combination with SSS reflective surfaces to catch their color. Still not sure if it's the effect i'm looking for. But it's close. Thanks!
