I'm running windows7 with 5.00GB of ram,3.25GB usable with a 64x2 dual processor AMD4000+2.11GHz 32bit system.
Daz 4.6Pro and when rendering I get memory errors or it just shuts down completely without warning.Tried installing 4.5 and had this happen again. This does not happen every time, seems to be at random. I shut off alot of the nonsense that windows 7 runs in the background to free up things but still problems. Any ideas??

It may be related to the RAM limit on this computer as it sounds like the video card is sharing with the CPU.

try the standalone 3Delight, and if this method works it's probably RAM.
You will be limited to using 2 cores during rendering but without checking I think you have two cores on your CPU so it might actually be faster. Download the version of 3Delight for DS4.6 if you are using 4.6, it should be 10.5(?)

note that these instructions are for Mac but they should apply for the most part to windows.

It all depens on your system and what you are trying to render..I know as I have had the same issues. I don't use DS4.6 much at all until I can get a 64 bit PC with loads of Ram.
