has anyone else problems accessing Renderosity because it has been put in a blacklist (Eset Smart Security)?
Or does anyone know it has currently problems with malware?
Or is it a false positive?
In other words - is it safe to override the blacklist?

I can access it but I dont have any security software blocking anything either.
I can disable the site protection module, but before I do, I just want to be sure that there really is nothing wrong with the site
Cant tell you if there is or not since I use a Linux distro for my OS on my online machine. Also using Firefox with script blocking and such.
You have a false positive. Any security you have is going to give you warnings to site's that basically have nothing wrong with them but your program just doesn't like them. I have PC with Vista and use all the AVG programs and I get no warnings.
I think you are right, but it is not a false positive. The entire site has been put on the blacklist - not managed by me, but by the AV provider (Eset). So it has been done deliberately
This is what I get:
Access Denied:
Details:
Web page: http://www.renderosity.com/index.php
Comment: Access to the web page was blocked by ESET Smart Security. The web page is on the list of websites with potentially dangerous content.
It loads perfectly fine for me and no warnings. Are you by any chance trying to access from work or school and this is not your computer, that might explain why it's blocked. There is a center here I use on occasion and it blocks the daz site, it's the settings used that cause it.
It is my own computer, from home. No firewalls blocking anything.
This is the Antivirus maker who now shuts of all its users from accessing renderosity
Only thing I can suggest is to contact the company that makes the program. They may have an answer for you as to why it does not like Renderosity.

I already ask Eset why they were blocked. Have not gotten an answer yet
Reason why could be a malware advertisement, a person reporting the site for malware practices or anything else.
If I don't read about any other people reporting a block or potential malware, I will bypass the blacklist, but I will wait another few hours to see if anyone else reports problems
The next AV update took renderosity out of the blacklist. Apparently a false alarm or problem has been taking care of.
I can access the site again
Thanks for the help
You can use this site to check suspicious URLs:
http://zulu.zscaler.com/
And this one to check suspicious files:
http://virustotal.com
...
I use an up to date security program and firewall and there is no problem with the site
