I've been trying to save diffused colors that change my skin, I just want to make that skin tone 1-cilk change. And everything I"m going is doing everything but that
It keeps saving the skin texture with it and I don't know what to check or uncheck to have it stop for the skin texture for loading. I just want the the 1-click skin tone change, so could work for any skin texture

When you save the preset, there should be options to save just the diffuse color without the texture. Alternatively, Ctrl-clicking (CMD on Mac) the preset will give you the option to ignore maps instead of replacing them.
Even if I save JUST the diffuse color change, it still loads the skin texture
People seem to save these skin tones all the time, surly there are screen shots showing what to check and what not to. That's what I need, words do not help me
Anyone at all
I see these all over the place, people making skin tones you can use on any skin texture.
I don't think there's currently a way to save just a colour change, leaving the map untouched, though hand-editing the .duf file might do it. However, you can get around that by holding the ctrl key when loading the preset and in the options dialogue selecting Ignore for maps - you can also save that as the default option, and apply it without having to go through the option dialogue by holding shift down.
I have taken to write down the numbers for the skintones I like, and keep it on a notepad. for the one that I use often, I have made it one of the custom color in the color squares (see attached screen)
Hope this help you a little atleast :)
