Need Gen 8 poses that interact with the camera

OK... so I need a pretty wide variety for Gen 8 superhero poses and then salutes, peace signs, reaching towards and pushing off in space ... would love a collection that breaks it down to right arm, left arm, right leg, ... ect...  The same collection should work well for swimming..  need poses with heavy interaction with the camera... for example as he's floating through space, he pushes the play to start the video...

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "needs poses with heavy interaction with the camera". Could you explain further, as your example wasn't very clear. I understood "superhero poses", "swimming poses", and the need for partial poses. But I'm not sure what you meant by "he pushes the play to start the video". Are you speaking of a camera prop or are you speaking of the camera node inside DS? A little more clarification would be helpful. Thanks. smiley

I always do poses where the character in the picture is in same way reaching towards the viewer because I want the person looking at my pictures to feel like I am interacting with them directly.. reaching through the picture to take their hand or giving signals like peace, stop and pointing.. Yeah, I know it rude in real life but in a picture, it should feel like your talking to the camera viewer.

OK. I see what you're saying. I'll keep this in mind. I'm working on a series of basic poses, and I can easily slip in some poses like that.

Snowpheonix, is it not possible to just move the camera closer to the character and maybe use the Point At feature for each eye, to point at the camera?

  • What is needed is the basic poses, one be close to what you need and then add the finishing touches Real everyday poses, those seem to be the hardest to find.

No doubt its going to be amazing... While what IsaacNewton states is so true I think the key is to imagine going through the _____ and you've got a person shooting a documentary about _________ ... Your going to be talking to the camera while you do a lot of action.. think Bear Gryll's survival.. or Blare Witch..  They always do actions that interact with the viewer on screen.. You want to reach through that facebook photo and blow them a kiss... You get the idea.. Thanks in advance.
