Worldwide Game Development Month (WoGaDeMo) has started.

For all the details see this link. (Be sure to check out the FAQ & Resources sections.)

Will be interesting to see if anyone makes a 2D, 3D, or even non-electronic game using DAZ models this month and if any game themed sales occur at DAZ because of WoGaDeMo.

I might have to add my own entry into this. For me, the first half of the battle is deciding what to code it in considering there's a 1 month timeframe and whether I can find time to finish it. I should note though, that anyone using Daz resources in their games would need an Indie games license to distribute it, even if they were giving it away for free. I can't see anyone paying $500-$2500 for a license on something they might not make their money back on.

For my part, I already have the game concept in mind, I just need to gather some good resources to put it together. Now's as good a time as any to put some serious effort into realizing it into a fully fledged game.

    Greetings,
On the other hand, using DAZ content to render an image that gets used as a backdrop to a game does not require that, I'm fairly certain.

Quite so. Images and animations can be used freely in games without the license.
