Which files to install in Poser (PC) for Genesis content?

Hi,

I have been downloading and installing Genesis clothing to go with my figures in Poser and I have been installing both the TRX files and the DPC files. Is this necessary, or can I just install the DPC files? Thanks.

    Just the .dpc are necessary for Poser

    Hi Frank,

    Thanks for your reply, but I tried installing just the DPC files for two sets of clothing (Night Guard and Wolf King) and the clothes were not visible in the Pose room until I also installed their TRX files.

    You need the TRX installer for actual clothing models, for texture sets it will depend on whether the textures are in both installers or only in the TRX (compare sizes for a rough guide).

    Was there a PoserCF file along with the .trx

    Thanks Richard, I guess I will just routinely install both scripts to be sure. That seems to work.
    Frank, Sometimes there is a PoserCF file, sometimes not.
