Just a heads up that HitFilm 2 is coming to Mac (PC people you can also get the discount). They did their kickstarter for the Mac version and it is Funded. They are doing some stretch bonuses now.

But if you arn't needing it right now you can buy in on the Kickstarter and get it for a huge discount.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fxhome/hitfilm-for-mac
(Details and Information)

It supports 3d camera's and 3d objects directly imported in now as well. I am not sure if there is a way of exporting camera moves from Carrara but hitfilm supports .ma (I think) to add the same data through the workflow.

It is a special effects / compositing and Video Editor (Plus more)

**I cross posted to commons but since so many Carrara people do animation but don't get a chance to read through the huge amount of postings that go on in commons I have it here as well. If its not okay let me know.

Hitfilm 2 is great! It integrates with Sony Vegas Pro 12 and the Mocha plugin for camera tracking. For those who don't own After Effects it's a cheaper way into compositing. I use it with DAZ and Vegas and highly recommend it. The support is very good and it has a very helpful user forum like here on DAZ. It would be great if in the future FXHome considered some sort of integration with DAZ but I suspect they would do this with the higher end 3D software like Lightwave or Modo first.

Might be worth following my thread (for those interested in Camera Tracking support for Daz Studio) over here maybe? ;)

Thanks for the Link. If you could export the camera moves into .ma format then it would import into HitFilm as well. ( I believe .ma is maya camera movement format)
