M4 rigging anomoly

When I load Michael 4 bones in the Poser setup room there is a bone that resembles genitalia and will not delete. It should not be genitalia as I have genitalia unchecked. It appears to not have a name and will not activate when clicked on. I tried this in Poser 6 and 8 setup room with same results.

The bone also renders.

Anyone know how to get rid of this critter?

Is the the base M4 figure you are taking into the setup room?

When you click on the extra bone, what name appears?

No name visible. The bone does not react (Highlight) as other bones do when clicked on, hence I cannot delete it. Yes it is the base figure

As I said in your Renderosity thread, I'm pretty sure that's the bone DAZ added to catch FBM parameter settings so that they would save in poses, which they wouldn't from the Body node in Poser 6 (the then-current version of Poser).

In DS I can display hidden nodes, so here I've highlighted the BodyMorphs bone and you can see that its endpoints match your strange bone.

Thank you! I cleaned out the .M4 cr2 of morph references and that seemed to do the trick in removing the bone. Guess I will keep this .CR2 for rigging. time will tell if I did it right and didn't delete anything important.
