I just had my computer revamped and am running Windows 7 64bit which was the same as before. I had more ram and a faster processor put into it. DAZStudio 4.6 ran great on the old machine, and so now with the new one up I am installing all of my programs. I have downloaded the newest version again, which I did have before the pc redo and when I go to open it I get an error message:
The procedure entry point ?put-LastRecID@QUeryResult@vsql@fbl@@QEAAI@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library VShared_x64.dll.
I have no idea what that all means except my program will not open now. I looked at my programs and features on my pc and have the microsoft visuall C ++ 2010 X64 Redistributable and also the 2010 x86 Redistributable which should be the latest.
Can anyone give me an idea where to go from here, point me in a direction where I might need to download something else and I did look here on the forums to see if I could locate anyone else with a similar problem. I didn't see one, but if there is let me know. I uninstalled DAZStudio several times along with the Content Manager Service to make sure I did a fresh install each time. Right now I am totally confused!
Thanks for any help given!!
Add on, I did turn off my firewall and my AVG when downloading Studio!

Make sure to uninstall the CMS and then reinstall DS. VShared_x64.dll is for the database software.

I hope someone can figure this out. I have had so much trouble getting the newest version to open on my computer. I finally went to the 32 bit, thought it would open and I got a new pop up message reading my graphics card wasn't good enough. After my tech putting in another card, and yet another, he still can't get it to open. Everyone's machine is different but I would love to see better specs up somewhere for someone like me who has their rebuild done by another individual. I need to be able to give him decent information on what is needed to run a program like any other program out on the market. At least we would have a direction to start with, which would come from the developers of the newest versions of DAZStudio, themselves as they are the ones that put it all together.
So, right now my 'Alice' is sitting on a work table waiting to get the appropriate graphics card so I can open up DAZ and begin creating again. On a side thought, being able to create characters and my visions have helped me through some difficult times and I do thank everyone involved. Things I have been able to do and imagine and put them into that workspace has amazed me at times.
Thanks for reading this and any suggestions! And, if I just didn't see/missed a page that would help me get my graphics card right, please point me in that direction.
