Here you'll find the finest in the Wasteland Vehicle Construction Set. In this first set, you'll find all the body parts, engine components, chassis, wheels, tires, and extra parts to kit-bash a vehicle fit for you.

A few of the premade, kit-bashed vehicles

And the icon that started it all (still in the works)

  • So....do they snap in place or something? Or do they load in the center of the image and I have to move the various parts into place?

And once I parent them, do they work...like spin and rotate? Does the steering wheel turn the wheels- if that makes any sense.

Overall, I just want to know more about what I'll be doing once I get this.

Oh wow. Mad Max is going DAZ finally... That's a must buy the day it'll be out... Looks stunning. Hopefully it's not too hard to build them?

So, this set is a whole lot of props that can be positioned any way you want. The only exception is the chassis, which is a figure that's rigged. The chassis is also expandable to bake it shorter or longer.

An example to build your own is below:

  • Wow, just wow! First off aside from the basic vehicle parts which look amazing, your attention to detail on the extras is awesome! You've already got skulls, poles, guards and rim blades for those extra details that make these kinda of vehicles standout.

Secondly it's in all seperate parts! Tires are seprate from the rims! Doors are seperate from the frames and so on. This is amazing! I have a couple different post-apocalypse cars I've collected for my runtime over the years. Each has been nice, but you are kinda stuck with the same vehicle no matter what you do. Also I will be able to finally build stripped out cars that will litter roads and landscapes!

As for suggestions, the only things I could come up with after looking at the images you've posted are these: 1) a dirty texture or shader for the windshields, 2) wire mesh guards for the side windows. I know it doesn't fit the theme of the material you are inspired by, but for those wanting to build more defensive vehicles it would be useful. 3) Maybe a harpoon type launcher or claw weapon similar to the vehicles found here: http://www.theinspiration.com/2017/03/cars-mad-max-fury-road-john-platt/

None of those are must haves though. Looking forward to this set hitting the store!

Very cool, the tires and engines alone make it a set worth having. Great job.
