Ordering difficulties.....

Hi everyone,
I'm having a dual problem that I can't seem to figure out, and I'm hoping someone can help me.
Yesterday I got an e-mail with a coupon code in it. The coupon code is "FIEND-5" and it's a $5 savings on a purchase of $25 or more

Today I got an e-mail with a message that says a new model I find very interesting "Sky Lords: Allies" is free with any purchase.

So, I decided that this is the perfect time to purchase another model I wanted, and in the process take advantage of these offers. But when I go to check out, I can't use the FIEND-5 as a gift card, and the system says I have no store credit. I didn't see anything anywhere about a coupon code, so where and how do I apply this coupon?

And likewise, how do I claim the free Sky Lords: Allies model? The total in my checkout process shows me paying full price for both models.

Not sure what I need to do to take advantage of these, and the FIEND-5 coupon expires tomorrow (the 6th). Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Make sure you go to the Shopping Cart, not directly to Checkout. At the bottom make sure you use the upper box for the FIEND-5 coupon, not the lower one, and that you have at least $5 worth of DAZ Originals (I believe you can use PA items to reach the $25 minimum, but the $5 only gets subtracted from DAZ Originals).

    I am also having trouble with this coupon, although I am attempting to get a bunch of PC items. I remember not long ago these type of coupons worked with PC items, has this changed?

    And yes, I have followed the instructions above ;-)

    No the coupons doesn't apply to PC items, only DAZ Originals

    As far as I know you can use $1.99/$2.99/PA items to get the total up to $25, but the $5 has to come out of DAZ Originals that aren't PC or Value items.

    Thanks for the replies. Tried a few other "configurations" but it is just not working. I am thinking not enough DAZ originals in the cart which aren't PC items. Oh well, no biggie.

    Well, if it's any consolation, I tried using it for about 30 minutes yesterday, with over $30 of only DAZ Originals in my cart - didn't work, not a single combination. If I had to guess, I would say that the coupon probably went inactive prematurely, but maybe was just the general DAZiness of the store.

    Who cares, saved me quite a few bucks ^^

    Doesn't work for new releases, maybe that's why? Worked fine for me with an older item.
