"Point at" glitch when re-opening a scene?

Any time I save a scene where the characters' eyes are set to point at the camera, if I close the scene and re-open it, the eyes do NOT point at the camera unless I move the camera. Is this happening to just me, or is this a known issue? It drives me crazy. I'll often close and open DS before starting a final render to purge unused textures from memory, conserving room on my GPU. If I forget to move the darn camera before I hit render, then I end up having to stop a mostly-finished render and restarting it because my people are staring aimlessly into space!

I think I have seen at least one other person report this, so certainly worth opening a Technical Support ticket to report it as a possible bug.
