Green "NEW" Tag and Maybe Some Other Pertinent Stuff also

Does the green "NEW" tag on new releases disappear after 60 days or is it a theory that DAZ scientists are still trying to prove possible?
(Tapping finger on screen in hopes a shoulder from an Admin with pertinent knowledge passes by and if that admin is not too busy I have many other questions to ask for the coming days and maybe weeks into months ... possibly years into decades ... the next several millennium ... from here on out ... eternity ... eternity times eternity ... you know what I mean)
Edited: I tested the theory and it does seem to work. The green "NEW" tag on Kimberly for Genesis Complete, which was released April 9th, no longer shows on the main promo image as of this morning, 60 days later.

It continues to be New until you use it afaik.
You can switch it off in Preferences > Content Library.
He means the new tag on the store, those are the green ones. The new tags in DS are blue. =P
Too bad we can't click on the store and mark content as seen, though.
The only answer I have for this question is......................... Pass This is as new to us as it is to you.
However if you pull up a category, say for example People, and filter by release date you will see that at a certain point the thumbnails are no longer tagged as new.
SO if anyone can remember when the Dwarf for genesis was released, then that is the date after which porducts are classed as new.
Sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick!
I never even noticed tags in the store.

So it seems that it works. Maybe we should test the next one in line to see if the tag goes away on time.
Kimberly for Genesis Complete was released 2013-04-09. It still has a NEW tag on it today.

Wait until tomorrow (June 9th). Heh.
Wait until tomorrow (June 9th). Heh.
That is if it is done automagically.
The green "NEW" tag no longer appears on "Kimberly for Genesis Complete, so it seems that the software does remove the tag after 60 days. That is a good thing to know.
