PURCHASED button - some remarks

I have just treated myself to the Morphing Python which, with the PC discount and monthly coupon, came to a nifty 97 cents. However, when I went back to the refreshed page to check on something I noticed that there was still a green "Add to Cart" button instead of the expected grey "Purchased" button. Is this sort of error common?

And while on the subject, I clicked on another "Purchased" button to see if it would add the item to the Shopping Cart - it did! Is there any circumstance anyone can think of where someone would need to buy software they had already bought?

Might've just been a cache issue.

I noticed that on something I purchased before, but when I got back to the site at a later time, it was grayed out with purchased.

I've cleared out my cache and rebooted. The green "Add to Cart" button is still present on this item.

I'm not that bothered, really - just thought I would make the observation that people could easily find themselves purchasing something twice irrespective of the colour of the Cart button!

[At this point I would have liked to have put in an appropriate smiley face, to show that I am not that sore, just mildly bemused - but they're not bloody working, either!]

I certainly don't completely trust it either which is why I have a spreadsheet of everything I have purchased at DAZ and all the other stores also.

I also have a spreadsheet of every item sold at DAZ. Still a WIP, but up to date and adding older items daily.

Is the item in your product library (under my account), and is there an order record for it? Wondering if the purchase may not have fully gone through.

We think alike. I've knocked up a little Access database with product pictures, hyperlinks, subforms, drop-down filters etc. Against each item I have recorded the Folder Paths within DAZ, so I can always find what I want.

By Jove, its almost more fun than actually using DAZ!

Yes, everything else is in order. It's in the Product Library, downloaded and paid for.

Gift certificates. Although that's not technically software, it shows up in the store as purchased, but you might want to purchase one again.

And also there is a product in the store called "Poke Away" which is the princely sum of $1. quite a few people have found that product to be very helpful in rounding up a cart total to get the maximum discount in some of the sales.

You mean that by purchasing Poke-Away! you can buy Stonemason's 'Urban Future Bundle' for $60 instead of $84. Excellent strategy! (I shall bookmark it.)

Wow. I've never thought of that. I'll have to remember that.

That bundle is $120 unless I'm missing something. At least the product page says that on my end. o_O

Well, we can always dream. But Stonemason is on Sale today, and I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll find today's equivalent of Poke-Away!

Especially if you're buying GCs as contest prizes, like I did a week ago - I had two of the same item in the cart at the same time.

Yes, I can confirm that my Python purchase is now acknowledged with a grey button. All's right with the world!
