Gift Certificate Code In Cart- Code Not Working But CREDIT IS THERE (Admin Aware)

Oh come on!!!!
DAZ isnt working weekends, the gift card code isn't working- anyone else had this problem?
I'll have to use Paypal- but using $200 on hand to cover DAZ's screw ups is ticking me off.
How long did it take your gift cards to be active?

    I clicked on the link from the email, then did the redeem gift card, and it still isnt working. Stating wrong code. Well duh, I haven't entered one, its the one they have typed in there. So it's their screwup.

    Wow, I'm sorry to hear about that. I would be PO'd.

    You better help Novica admin, the sale is over this weekend. Of course there is always that chance they will extend it through Monday for just this reason. I hope they do for your sake.

    Isn't THAT lovely for a gift card I just purchased and haven't used???? EDIT: NOTE TODAY IS THE 8th!!!

    Ledhead- don't worry, I'll use paypal and then make DAZ reimburse me immediately on Monday. I'm like you (was reading the other thread) I've spent a lot on this sale and DAZ isn't going to mess me up. They will have to undo the Paypal and use the gift card- I'm demanding it. Filing a ticket later this evening- have not checked out yet. Was waiting for it to right itself, but if it says expired YESTERDAY there's no hope for it to be righted.

    To activate the gift card, you used the email then clicked the link, then clicked on redeem, correct? I assume that's what activates it?

    Sounds right. I did one right after the other with no problem. We both know DAZ will take care of you, but this type of thing should not be happening. It can be very frustrating. I hope they throw in a little extra for you.

    Moderators- I know you dont have anything to do with sales, etc- but this REALLY needs to get forwarded fast. This is a big sale, if the gift certificates are messing up, a lot of people aren't going to have $200 laying around to fund their purchases and wait for Monday to be reimbursed. Is there anyway to get this problem noticed NOW?

    It expires in 2014 - in just under a years time.

    Thanks. I'm waiting to check out. Stupid me didn't see it was 2014- I was in shock seeing a zero balance. I want to buy a second one for tomorrow's sale but will give this a bit of time tonight :) I knew you'd fix it, I'm more concerned about others who wouldn't have a couple hundred in Paypal to cover it :) Thank goodness it was near the first of the month, lol. Appreciate it.

    FYI- DAZ has been very helpful PMing and trying to see what's going on. Here's the scoop- although when I first go to the cart, where it says to enter the gift card code- and it won't take it (says "wrong code") IF YOU CONTINUE TO THE NEXT PAGE (where you choose Paypal or credit card) it will have the amount there as a credit for you to select. So it does go through, just don't think you hit a roadblock on that first page of the shopping cart.

    Thanks DAZ for PM'ing and being on top of it. Now I can get another one for tomorrow!
    (If you are spending during this sale, folks, you should get a gift card for yourself and get a discount! The 200.00 ones give you 32.00 off but you still have 200.00 to spend, etc! There's different amounts. Check it out on the promo page where the stores on sale are listed!

    When I bought my gift card yesterday I got two gift cards, the first one was invalid and had a zero balance the second one had the balance I paid for. It was very strange.

    There is a known error that occasionally 2 codes are created for a Gift Card purchase, however only one code has a balance, that you paid for. Should a $0 balance appear, then try the second code. We are working on this error and hope to have a resolution soon, however, you will get at least one code that is for what you have paid for. Please let us know asap should that not be the case. Please keep in mind the majority of Gift Card purchases will receive only 1 code. We apologize for any frustrations and/or confusion.
