Genesis 8 Clothing convert to Genesis 3

Hello how I can convert or use G8M clothing for G3M?

Is it possible to do this directly in DAZ3D or is there an extension to it?

There isn't (currently at least) a Gensis 8 clone for Genesis 3.

You could try Edit > Object > Scene Identification

Change it from G8 to G3 - how well it works I've no idea. Personally, I'm more interested in G3 to G8.

I believe SickleYield has clones in development, if not already submitted; I mentioned this to her some time back and she decided to do them.

If you select G3M in the scene tab and edit - scene identification and change the compatibility base from G3M to G8M, then G8M clothes will bypass autofit and conform correctly. This works right off for most clothes. On a few items (when the sleeves load in the A pose) you will need to change fit to in the parameters tab from autofollow to redirect transforms.

I cannot tell you how well that worked for shoes!  You can also switch the figure between the different figure compatabilities and the clothes that you loaded for a different genesis dont get screwed over.
