I was browsing through Dealnews and came across a software reseller Purplus.net (apparently they're legit). They seem to be having a big sale and their software is marked down a ton on a lot of things. IE Poser Pro 2012 for $99 (from $300+). Just thought I'd let people know.

Link removed (link straight to graphics/imaging section)

As Daz 3D does not sell it's software through any outlet other than the store here I think you can be almost certain that this is not a legit site.

I bought Poser 7 from them AGES ago.... and it took ages to get it (something like a month or better) Tho I saved a ton of money, I was rather irritated with the shipping time. I will say tho, they are legit licenses. I guess theyre just software resales. I would be wary, though, if its not a boxed set (such as Hex tends to come)

...picked up P6 from Purplus years ago. Good price arrived in less than 7 days full boxed version with manual.

Hexagon (the Daz version) has always been an electronic download, though in the past one could pay an extra 14$ to have it burned to a CD.

Purplus are legit. I got my current copy of Poser Pro from them.
Trying to decide whether to get the PP 2012 for $99 or pay the extra $100 and upgrade to 2014.

Just want to chime in: Autodesk has posted an email granting the user 20% off from the suite.

Upgrade to a new version of Autodesk® Design or Creation Suite.

The offer is due until July 18 2013.

Visit their site if you want to check out for yourself. And it's legit, yes.

This box has me feeling iffy...

    "Subscribe to a current future

Subscribe today to use the power of the cloud, keep your Autodesk software current, and gain a competitive advantage."

Is Autodesk going towards Adobe's stance and moving to cloud software?

Apparently they have at one point. Read Frank's response here: http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=3072671#3072671

Whether or not they've remembered to revoke reseller rights is another story.
