Crow's Watch Special price for G.O.T. fans, I mean PC members commercial

I miss them all already! The season passed so fast and now I have to wait for ever to see those lovable baby dragons grow up.
Well we can always keep rendering our own scenes, I guess that's something. To that end I did this prop set to go with the great gear that the PC clubs been making for the Night's Watch. I made a special deal with DAZ to release it at a crazy cheep price to ease our collective grief at the seasons end. I hope it helps in some small way.

Your welcome. Looks likes it's just you and me for now. The rest of them must be all White Walkers.

I don't have HBO so I can't claim to be a G.O.T. fan. I have a bunch of the audio books but havn't listened to them yet.

That aside, the Crow's Watch and Shanty Town flew through my cart so fast I think they got whiplash. Thanks for the awesomeness!

(And yes, I too have purchased more than one item based on the vendor being The AntFarm. Do you have AntFan t-shirts? I would buy one. )

Don't have HBO so haven't seen the 3rd season yet. But saw the first 2 on DVD. Love the show, love the books even more. However, if anyone makes a good morph of Peter Dinklage, I'm all over it. He's perfect as Tyrion, even if the TV series lets him keep his nose.

BTW am all over these two items also. Thanks for the great discount!

I'm glad to hear that. I know there are a few snowy terrains out there and I wanted to do something that would give folks a prop that would work with them, but also as a stand alone. I added the back wall morph when I got frustrated with needing a better view. So don't forget it there, comes in handy.

Hey Ant, quick question... what is the blue/white bot next to Zorn in your store banner? Either I'm completely blind, or stupid, but I can't seem to find it. o_O

    You're welcome :)

I happened upon it since I love songs from that singer, he makes several songs based/inspired by different games and so on. So I found that song, liked it a lot and didn't figured out it was from GoT until a friend told me *laughs*

I saw a Peter Dinklage figure on a zbrush forum very nice work but no he was not a genesis morph.

    /slaps self
I completely missed the head in the thumbnail while looking through the store. His icon looks like a round ball with arms and legs. lol
    Thanks. :D

    Say, I have a question...
The documentation lists DAZ Studio presets but I haven't found any. I've reinstalled the files just to make sure. Am I missing something?

Also, the ad mentions using the Subsurface Shaders. Has anyone come up with a SS version of the ice yet?

The DS material preset loads from the Poser Materials library -- it's a sidecar file with the .mc6 that uses the Subsurface Shader Base.

Thanks! I'll have to look into that. I thought I'd explored all the directories, but I guess I'm not used to looking in the Materials folder...

That's funny. I don't see it. I try to load the shader from the Material folder and DS doesn't load it onto the sphere primitive I have set up. Am I doing something wrong?

The effect isn't very obvious on a sphere. Here's what it looks like on the set:
