I'm wondering if I could get some advise. I have downloaded the current version that pops up with the for free button, but I having major problems trying to get it up and running. I have a 2 TB drive in my machine and have it partioned into two drives one for OS and one for data. During the install process I changed the content directory to the data drive as it is 1.5 TB. After the install process finished the first time and the software started I was asked to register as is to be expected. The program started but it did not load a genesis figure and I was unable to find any content. I have spent about 6 hours trying different fixes that i have found on the net and am about to give up.

Did you download Daz Studio through the Store here http://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-4-pro

THis is the latest version, and the Genesis starter essentials have been a separate download for some time now, back to DS 4.5.

If you purchase it through the store you should see the starter essentials here, in your product libray

Yes that is the download page that I used. Ok so the "bundle" is in the online library and need to be downloaded seperately from there? It is not a one step install bundle?

No, it would be a very large download if it was all in one installer, and there are some parts of the bundle that not all need, like the Photoshop bridge and GoZ, which need you to also have PS CS 6+ and ZBrush for them to work

Thank you so very much for your help. If it wouldn't be to much to ask could you possible list the actual files to download there are a few options for some of them. The x86 vrs x64 i understand fully.

Yes obviously you need the version for your OS and patlform, so If you have a Mac, you need the Mac files.

For the Essentials you need the 14812_GenesisStarterEssentialsDS_1.13_trx.exe or if you are using the DIM to download you simply need the file with the DIM logo next to it in green.

The 14812_GenesisStarterEssentialsPoserCF_1.13_dpc.exe PoserCF is for people who also use Poser and want to use genesis in poser

where you just have an option between a zip or an exe file in the non DIM downloads , then you need the exe if you are using windows.

Any files that are labelled legacy are for those who still use an older version of DS.

    I hope that helps
