OK...
So I have been trying to do a fresh install of all my content and have been using the DIM to keep track. Some of my content wasn't showing up in my product library nor in the DIM. After a little digging I discover that the stuff not showing up is stuff I got from purchasing the DAZ Book. So, I send in a ticket telling them what I'm missing and give them the order number for the book purchase. I get a response telling me that the order can't be found.
.... ????....
It's showing up just fine on my end.
So I write back and explain I did buy the book from here...and give the purchase order number..again.
Only I get no response back. Nothing.
Gave the ticket a little bump by asking "hello?" yesterday. Nothing today.
So now what?

I received serial codes for the apps that were on book disk but don't have the any of the actual items in my account history.
Well when they told me that they couldn't find my order, they told me to give them the order number or send a receipt or scan the book and they would add them in to my account... but I already had given them the order number. They said they couldn't find the order...
but here it is sitting in my Order History so I don't know why THEY couldn't find it, and I'm a little irritated that I'm just being ignored now...
Actually sending that same screenshot to them might be helpful, if you haven't done so. Hope it gets solved for you soon...
never thought to check those!
most stuff like morphs++ etc I also got in other bundles but are a few things that would be only on that disc I still have safely stashed

Weird question but what happens if you hit the download button?
I pulled the book in my actual order history. There are downloads for the Basic wear and Mildragon2 showing but nothing else. It also has a link to Hex at the bottom but that's only because I bought Hex for $1.99 back when it was first released so I already had a copy. It does not give you the M4 and V4 items or C6Pro.
@ princess: Yeah...that's what I see, too. And the Mil Dragon thing says something about having the Eastern Dragon in it, but my download doesn't have it in there. (But I don't remember having the Eastern Dragon, so that is a little confusing)
@ scott: Also... I did send them the screenshot.... that's when i didn't get a response again.
It's not like I don't have the content. I do. I have it on disc and have actually already installed it. It just doesn't make any sense to me to not have that stuff show up in the DIM if the DIM is supposed to help me see what I have purchased and what I have not. What good will the DIM be if it doesn't actually show me what I have installed in there? As it looks now to me in the store...it looks like I don't have M4 morphs ++ or Hiro 4 or Aiko 4 or any of the stuff that came with them like their clothes and hair... but I do. And I bought them from here. I gave them my "proof". They said they couldn't find it!.That's the last I heard. I sent the screenshot...restated the order number but never heard back...
now we are at the end of friday... so we know what that means... GAH!

So...what is it that I am supposed to do?
I've had a couple of files not appear in the DIM before but they have appeared in my account and seemed to have the DIM zip file. I just dowloaded the DIM zip from my account and dropped the zip into the DIM installer folder.
Yeah, some stuff I can see in my Product Library ( Like the BOOK!) but the Book "product" is only showing Basic Wear and Mil Dragon 2 like princess said. When in actuality, this is what comes on the Disc:

So, none of those items are showing up in the DIM or in the Product Library (with the exception of a couple of things that were duplicated in other bundles)
The 3D Starter pack has more than animals. It has the M3 and V3 RR figures, the full Fairy Forest content, the cartoon kids and the sylized businessman and business woman. The Eastern Dragon was given away with the MilDragon2 when it was released. Later it was released as a separate figure so I don't know if the giveaway was continued.
The first thing they usually want you to do is open a ticket. So open a new ticket. If you can include the screen shot showing your actual purchase, they won't be able dispute it.
If they don't respond to the ticket after 3 to 4 business days, I'd give them a call. Even if you have some of the content, there's no reason they can't add it to your account history. Even if an item hasn't made it into the DIM, all the content given away would still be listed and have the installers available for download until they were replaced with zips or the DIM.
Both Mildragon1 and Eastern Dragon come with MilDragon2.0
Well when I download the files that I'm given on that page, they contain Mil Dragon1 and Mil Dragon2 which are pretty much the same dragon... no eastern dragon.
...but that's just a weird "wrong blurb" or something cuz only Mil Dragon 1 comes with the disc anyway.
I'm not concerned about not having Eastern Dragon cuz I don't think I ever had it. Just thought it was strange that the product that is showing up in my product library says it Mil Dragon 2 and comes with Eastern Dragon, since the file for download doesn't even have that file included or available as a separate download...
I don't know...the book data seems wrong... and so my Product Library isn't actually accurate or complete, and I'm not sure what I am supposed to do about it...
Open a new ticket. Either give Customer Service the invoice number or, better yet, copy the invoice info directly into the ticked. That way there are no "lost" attachments. That is proof enough that you purchased the edition of the book with the disk since the newer edition does not come with one.
Also include a complete list of the products on the book disc and request that they add these products to your account history. They really cannot refuse since if you pull up the book from your products list, they do include some of the files. Give them the standard 3 to 5 business days and if they haven't responded, call them and file another ticket.
I really don't see why it's so hard for them. They've added products to members account histories from magazine disk giveaways once the member gives them proof of purchase.

I suppose we should be grateful that at least what we type comes out as legible (at least for those who can actually type legibly).
Just to see what happens, I'm going to open a ticket. I purchased the book through DAZ but never gave it much thought until I pulled up the order history.
only time I thought about it was when S4 came out and I could not fit the basic wear
got morphing clothes soon after which solved that
I think Hiro 4 and Aiko are the only ones I do not have Morphs++ for in my DIM and of course all the other clothes apartment and furniture, but some things also came with Carrara 7 ( on a mag) & 8 upgrade, I notice I do have stylin for M4 for example and the basicwear swimwear options for V4 in DIM which came with the upgrade or a bundle.
Well V4 and M4's morphs work with Aiko and Hiro cuz both are actually just extra morphs for V4 and M4.... did that make sense? I mean to say. There is no morphs ++ for Aiko or Hiro....they are just extensions (morphs) of the Gen 4 mesh.
....but I'm running into other issues now that I'm really doing this install thing.
For example: When I first started using Daz Studio, I wasn't jasmineskunk yet, so I have this other account with like, you know, 6 or 7 things in it, and it would be easy to just forget that account except my horse bundle (that I got for 2 bucks...yay!) and Courageous (that I paid FULLL price for - the things you don't know when you're new...heehee) are both in that account...
OMG! What a nightmare trying to get my horse bundle in there and working right! What did they do to it? I went back to my old installer... but the thing is... the DIM can't keep track of those things either...and here's the real pita.... since the bundle was installed via NOT the DIM... the DIM doesn't recognise that it is installed so it won't install all of the supporting packs I bought using THIS account... *sigh*
yeah...I'm thinking this DIM is not going to work out as being useful to me...
And...
I really REALLY would appreciate it if someone from the DAZ WORLD would help me out with some of this...
I mean, what would it take? Like 5 minutes?
In DIM you can set up the second account, so that may help you a little. :)

DIM won't require you to install the horse using DIM in order to install add-ons.
You can also ask them to combine both accounts into one.
Well My Spine Bender Armor and my LB unicorn wouldn't go in. Kept telling me the install failed, so i assumed that the reason was because I had to install the Horse bundle by hand... *shrug* ... don't know what the trouble would have been, then...and the Horse bundle doesn't seem to have a DIM download anyway(from the other account - which is weird cuz i swear it did yesterday and I wondered if I could just drop it into my DIM download folder, but the install was weird so I just used my old installer (weird cuz all of the full body morphs were missing and I couldn't get them to work in DS even with the old installer because for some reason they just don't show up in DS like they do in Poser because there is no way to select "BODY" in DS)....
So I don't know how I should go about it really...Really, I could use a little help here...
...and I did ask Ann about combining them once a while back, but at the time things were a little hairy for me, I don't know if she ever got back to me... I never really pursued it....

I'm actually almost done with this portion of the "fresh install" though.... Now on to all the stuff NOT from DAZ! Gah!! I really could use some helpful elves or something...lol
I don't use the DIM as I routinely have over 100 external runtimes as well as temp and project runtimes that get archived when the project is completed so I'm not much use there. That and Poser is my main app. I have DS1, 2, and 3 in order to use plugins that were never updated for other versions and DS4. whatever because the others don't do duf files.

Just out of curiosity... when you say DS is telling you the installation failed, is it calling it a "Dependency error"?
No...I'm able to install using the Daz Installer and manually installing it. I was talking about the fail that happens when I try to install it with the DIM. It ends up looking like this:

No, actually... it's sort of a boring story....
I had been a few ID's in a few different places and my b/f and I were talking about perhaps making some artwork and opening an online store... you know... for fun. We found Zazzle. And I had some experience with photoshop, so we toyed around with this idea and I decided I needed to have some kind of "brand" identity...lol... I know... silly....
...anyway...
after giving it some thought.... I decided JasmineSkunk suited me, and busily and happily went around to all the places I frequented at the time and changed my name...
... you know...
...for "professional" reasons.... hahaha!!

A nice one. Today I woke up to find that my ticket had been replied to and all that stuff was added to my account ..
so....
now I have to go uninstall all the stuff I put in by hand and then reinstall using the DIM to let the DIM put them in!! LOL..
