Genesis (V5) Figure/Head morph problem

I applied a female character morph set to Genesis - the result was oddly distorted (possibly because of other morphs already on the figure?) but I rather liked the face - it just seemed to need some fine-tuning. Problem: the body was distorted too, Venus of Willendorf style, if you know what I mean. I.e. hugely exaggerated breasts/hips. I just ignored that and tweaked the head a bit . . . then went back to work on the body. I can't see any way to get that to look more normal. I.e. I tried selecting the chest, abdomen, hips etc and doing a "zero selected items) - no result. I can zero the entire figure . . . that that gets me no where since I lose the head I was working with. Selecting individual breast adjustments doesn't work either . . . suggestions please?
(I suppose I can't post a picture of what I have now without breaking some sort of rule . . . this seems a bit unfortunate.)

Textureless versions are perfectly okay to post assuming no visible genitalia.

Character morphs tend to morph both the head and the body. Good character morphs will offer a separate head and body morph, so you only need to apply the one you need, but there are a handful which are injection morphs or simply don't come with a separate head option. For those there isn't much you can do to remedy this without exporting the entire mesh and taking it into a modeler to create your own morph.

Information on the morphs you're currently using, as well as a reference image will probably help us to lay this bag of snakes out straight.

For example, both Basic Female and Victoria 5 have separate head morphs so you should be able to zero the body morph and apply the matching head to keep the face but reset the body to something less extreme.
