3Delight error 145

I'm getting the above error on a scene after adding a Fog Camera. The text of the error message is : S2073 'SceneMin' is not a parameter of shader 'brickyard{great long string of characters}/shader_imager.
The scene contains Genesis, V5, Xenia Hair, Crypta Sepulcha, Elven Staff and a tunic. The render stops every time once it reaches the hair.
Bug to be reported?

The error doesn't sound like a fatal one, and it should continue rendering. It's possible that the you're using UberEnvironment, meaning the hair is taking longer to render than other parts of the image. Hair generally renders more slowly in UberEnvironment due to the transparency maps used, so you should expect longer render time accordingly. Using some shaders you can disable occlusion on the hair which will greatly speed this up though.
Details on what exactly happens will help us isolate if this is the case though.
Is this AOA's fog camera? As he put something about this in the Readme. Just ignore it. :)
When you get a Error report at Rendering the LEVEL is the important part. As you say it Stops rendering at that point could you post the level of the error? A Level 1 or 2 are fine. Hair once hit will take a very long time to render depending on your lighting, the Trans maps on the hair used and render settings. You might just need to give the render MUCH more time to finish.
Hi,
You can ignore the error. You have a scenemin parameter that is sent to 3delight at rendertime althought the shader doesn't have any in the shader (camera fog). I don't know if you built this shader or if you bought it but you can report a bug
However that is not what makes the render stop when rendering the hair. I guess that is because you have transmapped hairs and that takes time to render with raytracing. Don't panic, there is no problem. Just have patience.
If you want to render faster, apply ubersurface on the hair, then disable occlusion, and cast shadow. However there will be a drop in quality in the render
If you want to use an advanced technique so that it renders faster and still get a good look see This thread for a neat trick with geometry shell
Thank you all for the replies. It's a level 1 error so it looks like I should just ignore it.
The odd thing is, before adding the Fog Camera, the scene rendered relatively quickly (about seven minutes), so I'm having difficulty understanding why it would suddenly take soooo much longer. Such is life, I suppose!
I'll give it another whirl later and see what happens.
Yes, it is. I'll have a quick peek at the Read Me. Thanks for the info!
Thats is because Depth Cue or Fog alters the opacity and that is more complicated considering you already have transparency calculations on transmapped hairs. Be aware that the rendering time could explode
Except that the documentation says that render times shouldn't be affected much by the fog camera.
I think I'll take it out and add the effects in Photoshop at this rate! :)
