Where is Genesis?

I'm a newbee here so I might be doing something wrong, but something's definitely not right here. I open DAZ Studio 4.6 and the first thing I get is prompt to register something called 'aniMate 2'. I don't have a registration number and my options are 'OK' or 'cancel'. Either one gets me into DAZ, but either way when DAZ opens I get a viewport but that's all, there's no Genesis Base Figure. Also, in the QuickStart Guide they show a 'Welcome Screen', a 'Metadata Import' and 'Import Previously Mapped Directory' all of which doesn't happen. Even if I uninstall, delete anything in 'Program Files', go into the registry and remove any related folders and do a fresh install, still all I get is a Layout grid, with no Genesis. I found out how to select layouts, but still no Genesis. What am I missing? Please help.

Did you install Genesis Starter Essentials? It's a separate download.

You get a 30-day trial of the full Animate 2 plugin, then it reverts to a limited "lite" version unless you buy it from the store here and enter the serial number.
