Daz 4.6 4.6.0.18

1) search engine not working
2) smart content not showing up
3) product and category icon not working..

Everything worked in 4.5..

Help!!

What do I do?

    Which are all to do with CMS.

    First did you uninstall CMS before upgrading?
    Second close Daz Studio and I take it you are on Windows, if so go you the Window start menu and find DAZ3D > CMS and Start CMS and
    open Daz Studio and see if that fixes it.

    But everytime I upgrade I always uninstall CMS first then I upgrade. Since doing it that way CMS has never failed me.

    No I did not unistall CMS..:(

    So uninstall and reinstall 4.6 or?

    Ok got it. Win XP 32 bit....msconfig...notice it was unchecked.....Checked the box restarted and all works..

    Sweet but for future reference Uninstall just the CMS via the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel of Windows. I have never used XP so I don't know if you have a Control Panel like Vista and Win 7 has.

    Once CMS has been removed I restart the computer and install the upgrade and let that uninstall Daz Studio, that is what I do and to this day I don't have any issues with the program apart from my PC is so on its last legs I am surprising I get any renders done.

    CMS is always on and working, it never stops on me..it behaves itself rather well which is surprising with how many have issues with it.
