Sorry if im putting this on the wrong place. I tired to find a way to contact the seller, but i have no clue where and how.

The sale is soon ending so i was wondering if someone has any pictures from this set: http://www.daz3d.com/shantara-city

I'm looking for an overview pic, to see exactly how big or small this "town" is.
And some closeups to see how bad or good textures look.

Thanks.

    Greetings,
    http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/23930/ and http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/23866/

are ones that I've noticed. I picked it up because at that price, the textures are less relevant to me than the extensive world. I can replace textures with shaders, and such.

I also have Andoria City by the same author, which has the same texture issues.

To quote from Clueless, the movie:

Tai: [referring to Amber] Do you think she's pretty?
    Cher: No, she's a full-on Monet.
    Tai: What's a Monet?
Cher: It's like the painting, see? From far away, it's OK, but up close, it's a big old mess.

That said, the city mesh is amazing, and excellent. HUGE is another word, and worth it at this price, IMO, even if you have to use other shaders to texture it.

A hint of scale: see the path surrounding that little oval brown building in the middle of the direct-overhead pic? The entire floor grid fits neatly inside that.

    BIG.

The included light sets look good, though, and the one I tried rendered reasonably quickly.

As for size, the city fits neatly inside the "Medium (1km)" setting for Ring of Light.
