I am in search of either a already done Kwan Yin Statue for Daz or the other option would be finding a hair, pose, clothing as separate components either for V4 or Genesis, or maybe even Cookie. I think it would be interesting to see what people can come up with either way.

Kwan Yin -- Bodhisattva of Compassion, probably the most important Bodhisattva in Buddhism. Also know as Guanyin, Kannon (Japanese), and Avalokiteśvara (Sanskrit). During the 17th-19th Centuries, when the Japanese Christians were being persecuted by the Shogunate, Kannon was used by the Christians as a hidden representation of Virgin Mary -- the Christian personification of Compassion. They created statues know as "Maria Kannon."

Royloo had a free Kuan Yin statue, but I don't think he has a site for his freebies anymore. :( The only other models I'm seeing at the moment are pricey items at Turbosquid and the like, or suspiciously similar looking models on "free" sites.

Were you thinking of a standing or sitting pose? Something sort of like this?

    The multi-armed version?

Sketchup version of the Ofuna Kannon in Japan here:

Getting the face shape of the classic statues may require some creative morph combinations, and flowing robes are always problematic unless we can find a suitable dynamic outfit (depending on your software).

I suggest Littlefox's Lady of the Lake as a starting point. Add the Wizard's Robe (V4) or possibly Cardinal Cloak or Dynamic Fantasy Robe. Swap out some of the jewelry. Lisa's Pond Life Plants has a flower that might size up well for a base. Add a veil over the hair and crown (there are some dynamic pieces in the Ultimate Pattern Kit, or use the round Dynamic Tablecloth, or use whatever you like if you're in Poser or some other software with dynamic drape features).

I knew I should have picked up Lady of the Lake when Littlefox's store was on sale....

Draagonstorm's Dynamic Kimono might also work well layered over a long dress.
