How do you remove a tire from a Figure and Convert it to a Prop?

Hello all,
I was wondering if someone new how I might be able to remove a tire from a car and create it as its own prop? I need a tire for a scene and although I can remove the tire from the car, in either DAZStudio or Poser, when I hide the rest of the parts of that car, the tire goes along with it.

Someone here a while ago showed me how to create a duplicate of the tire and create it as its own prop, but I forgot how to do so.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Is the car actually a figure and are the tires separate body parts?

In Poser, you can use the grouping tool. Load the car. Open the grouping tool. Select the polygons in the tire. Once you have all the polys selectd, click spawn prop. You can then delete the car and the spawned tire prop should still be in the viewport. You can then save the tire to the props library.

    Hello iceprncss,
Thanks for the reply and thank you so, so much for telling me how to create the tire as a prop! It worked well using the grouping tool. ^^

I really appreciate your help, thanks!
