What on earth is this all about.
We have Default templates - Parameters - Legacy surfaces - Skin - Surfaces
i thought I was getting used to the surface tab in Daz Studio but now I realise I know nothing.

From what I can tell, legacy shows your surface zones named and laid out as they used to be, the templates group select areas that use the same image file (ie forearms, legs all use the limbs image) by default. Skin group selects all skin (not eyes toenails gums etc.). "Surfaces" are the actual mat zones.
Parameters ... I need to experiment, looks like way of adjusting groups of alike parameters at once, but not sure I'm fully grasping it.

Essentially it's using the new surface grouping feature in DS 4.6 to make it easier to adjust things that need the same settings while leaving things that need to differ untouched. G2F is the first figure to be fully set up to use this out of the box.

That's going to be a time-saver, to be able to click one setting (skin) and not have to deselect the non-skin stuff.
    Nice.

Yeah, no kidding, I definitely like that. I had liked hearing the possibility in 4.6's release, glad to see Genesis2 is already set up to take advantage, and with even more pre-set options than I expected.
