Custom Clothing

I need to design a custiom clothing for genisis kid4... I modeled a cloth in hexagon. But having problem with fiting it in DAZ Studio.. It doesn't move according to the movements of the body. How could I resolve this problem. I went through many tutorial but didn't get the solution.. Your help is highly appreciated

    Did you model around the base Genesis shape or the Kids 4 shape?

    Thanks for the reply.. I sent customized kid4 to hexagon and then modeled the cloth over it. (in hexagon it's name shows as genisis. but the shape is the same as which I customized) then sent the cloth to DAZ back. its fits on the figure I created in daz. But its not moving and streching according to the movements of the body.

    I didn't apply any materials.
