GOZ and RAGE!!!

GOZ is consistently destroying my figures after I send them back to DAZ from zbrush. The morph will load, and all is well, until I re-load the scene. Then I get what's in the attached image.

It's consistent, and making my life hell. I've found at least two other people that are affected by it, but no mention of a way to fix the problem

The other mention of it is here.

Is there anything I can do to avoid this? I've lost at least 40 hours to this already, and I'd like to see if anybody knows how to fix it, or at least a work around?

Which figure? If it's a Genesis, or an older figure converted to TriAx, use File>save as>Support Asset>Morph Asset to save the morph, if it's a legacy figure then try exporting as a CR2. The morph data should be saved with the scene but for some users it seems to be failing - please post a screenshot of your Content Directory Manager showing your current content directories, in case there's an issue there.

It's V4 converted to TriAx, and I'll try that, but I've had little luck saving morphs.

    This is the directory structure

I have been able to confirm this with Genesis 2 Female, but I'm not sure if your issue is the same. Are you getting a missing asset warning, or is it just failing to load with no apparent error messages?

Guess I'm not the only one around here that's a masochist and clinically insane, as you need to be to convert Poser figures to Tri=Ax, clicking on convert to WM doesn't actually do anything to the figure as it's already WM, instead what it does do is give you a major ****in' headache if you ever want to get it to work properly as a Tri-Ax.

I don't have Zbrush so I don't have any use for GoZ, but I have done a lot of morphs for Tri-Ax figures, so to help narrow down the cause I first need to know how you saved V4 after you converted her, which of the options under "File >Save as" did you use.

It does seem to be a GoZ issue, or at least there is a GoZ issue - it affects Genesis too, and my report has been confirmed.

    Same bug too, with
DAZ Studio 4.6.0.18, Genesis 2 female, and ZBrush 4 R4.

    But Genesis 1 works fine

The issue seems to be related to the fact that you can't save the morph at all. With Genesis 1, you can save the morph asset and use on other figures. When you do the same with Genesis 2, Daz Studio either doesn't load the file, or the format is bugged. This is kinda important I think. I hope Daz is looking into it.

It's been reported and confirmed. In the meantime, don't use GoZ (or at least, don't come back from ZBrush to DS that way) -export the tool as OBJ, and load that as a morph with Morph Loader Pro.

Ah, good. Thanks for the alternative though. Wasn't aware of morph loader pro yet...still learning DAZ Studio :)

This happened to me a lot, using just v4 and GOZ, when you reopen your scene DAZ cant find your custom morphs, this bug is really old but never fixed.
