I have been trying to make a superman suit with the super suit but I keep getting poke through on the chest and abdomen and I have the smooth modifier turn on. Can anyone please tell me how to deal with poke through s on the genesis figure? Thanks in advanced.

I don't see any poke through on mine so I'm not sure what you're seeing. Can you post a screenshot or render?

One thing with the supersuit is you can adjust the thickness of each section. If you adjust it to thin then parts will start to poke through. Double check the sliders for the sections where you're getting poke through and make sure they are at zero or slightly negative. That should fix things without having to resort to a ton of smoothing.

I hope you show your pic too.
because super suti have thick morph about aech area which can adjust the shape.
if you apply morph of the parts, it may cover poke through.

I believe you may need not smooth modifier with super suit.

but if you keep smooth curve,,not hope to tweak the part area thickness
    most simple way is,,

apply morph on genesis eg Heavy or Pear figure, (anymorph OK which can expand more
your poke through area) then memorize where I find the morph, in parameter,,

    eg Actor>universal>Heavy (FBMHeavy)

after tweak the slide value, then reset the value.

Now the genesis morph (FBMHeavy) which you tweaked for genesis, auto transfered to super suit.

select "super suit" in scene tab, then go to parameter tab, right click on the tab>show hide properties.
    then serch the transfered morph.

you must find same location , Actor>universal>Heavy
now you can use the transfered
FBMheavy for supersuit, with keeping genesis mesh positon. it usually remove most of poke through.

Thanks for the replies, I have these morphs on the figure;Michael Hero 1.0 and Fitness .90. I even removed all the morphs and kept the basic figure and still it show the poke thoughs. But here is a pic of it. Maybe you gents and Ladies can help me.

I think,, if you use basic suit in genesis super suit products?
if you use it,, you have not so many shape morph about the product,,

but if you used genesis super suit,, you can select the area by surface tool.
then right click you can easy find the poke through part name.
and you can apply shaping morph (thick)

then go to shaping tab,Torso>universal you may find many morphs wthich assigend the Abdomen area.

In my pic, now I select one area by surface selection tool, then right click to confirm the group name.
after that I adjust the thickness of the aera as I want.
    it easy remove poke through. or bury under the skin more ^^;

then,, if you did not use supersuit of genesis,, basic suti,, or other suit,,
there are other way to remove poke through.

Apply push modifier on the suit,, from edit menu,, with select the suit,,

    edit>figure>geometry>
then little bit more thick all , by Parameter>general>mesh ofset,, you can adjust the thickness.

Or I may use transfered hide morph,, eg Heavy or Pear figure etc. I said above.

You can also increase the number of collision iterations (it's in the parameters tab).

If you're using the full Supersuit not the basic one then you need to:

    1. Select the Supersuit on the Scene tab
    2. Go to the Shaping tab and click on the Editor tab at the top.
    3. Select the Torso section
    4. Scroll down until you see the Blue and Yellow adjustment sections and make sure all of those are set to 0 or a negative number.

I was able to duplicate what you're seeing using the M5 Hero, Fitness .90 and setting the Sides F section of the supersuit to +0.20

With just the M5 Hero and Fitness .90 morphs set I wasn't seeing any poke through.

Adjusting the thickness of the suit will be better than adjusting it with smoothing or collisions in the long run since that requires less processor/GPU time when rendering or moving around the viewport.

Kitakoredaz, do you happen to know if is possible to send the model from daz to photoshop to paint on the figure? And any other crazy stuff you can think of to work directly on the maps in photoshop, Thanks in advance.

Sorry,,^^; I am gimp user,, and gimp has no plug-in to direct tweak surface of DAZ figure,
but I know photo shop plug in for daz work many.

have you tried 3D bridge for photo shop plug in ?
(you may find in your install manager, or your accoutn downloadable product already,,
    when you download ds 4.6,,,

    then how you tried it?

All the textures and things are jpgs. All you have to do is to load them into GIMP and paint on them just like any other texture.

You can also create your own jpgs in GIMP (or photoshop) and then apply them to the figure in DAZ using the LIE.

thepencilneck,, Of course, I use GIMP to do so.

I often use Gimp free normal map plug-in to make simple Normal map. Or make Gel light texture, or hide skin darkness part
of genesis sikin Diffuse map, using layer with many brush tools etc.

but I think he asked me how to send the 3D model from daz to photoshop and directly
color paint on 3D mesh or He may hope to see the 3D model with rotatiing around in photo shop
with workiing. I understand Gimp can not do it.
