Repeating products for V6

Aplogize if this has been answered already, but maybe I missed it (I try to follow all the Gen2/V6 threads, but...)

The first 2 products for V6 that already exists for V5 are available (HighBoots3 and Wicked fingernails). I already bought the versions for V5. Is it really necessary to buy the new products for V6 or can I use the V5 versions?
If it is recommended to buy the new versions I wonder if there will be a special upgrade price for all who purchased the predecessors.

Thanks in advance for any hint.

This strictly depends on the PA. Some will offer it and some won't. It is strictly their decision. And no you cannot use v5\Genesis1 versions without doing the conversion yourself. There is a thread on this started by Kattey. Best bet is to wait for the Genx update for Genesis2 if you don't want to resort to manual measures.

Theoretically, if they are conformers for Genesis (V5 is Genesis) you can autofit them to G2F in the DS 4.6 (won't work in DS 4.5) although I'm not sure of quality.

For heels direct autofit fails in feet; first image: g2f girl with high heels for v5.
A possible solution; secon image: Fit v5 heels to g2f, pose G2F feet in heel pose, unfit v5 heel. Tranfer rigging from g2f to v5 heel, refit heel.

Some details in long boots. Smooth doesn't repair this. (In both post DS4.6)

With High boots, you get the same results as above with just autofit

Pic below has the feet and toes invisible.

    Yes/No/Maybe

You might get better results going the transfer utility route.
In the above image, I hid her feet. Course posing works, But the toe movements are severely malf'ed.

I wanted to say: with autofit, re-rigg and no visibility practicaly all generation 5 shoes can be transformed to genesis 2. So, buy all again is not need in theory. I obtain a better result for Legwarmwer Boots. The problem in my previous post was due to smooth modifier.

Footwear that goes between different figures is never perfect. Personally prefer manual fitting footware.

Autofit seems to work worse for me with genesis 2 I tried fitting the sun dress for Stephanie 5 and the results were terrible

Curiosity: DS4.5 or DS4.6. I don't have sun dress but long dress I try worked with minimal details.

Is the Content Management Service working? DAZ Spooky suggested that that could be a factor in how well AutoFit worked (which will be annoying if so as I'd given up on it and moved my content around all over the place).
