Question about Poser products and materials in DS

Hi all,

I love Fabiana's products over at Rendo link removed as against commercial advertising rules I really, really do. Her characters, jewellery (and promo shots) are amazing and achingly gorgeous.

I've always wanted Swilly for V4/G4 and some of the jewellery packs but have never purchased anything, due to the warnings of prodedural materials and what-not.

So how can I convert Poser materials and what not for use in Daz?

Would jewellery just be a case of applying metallic shaders (like DZFire's, assuming there is at least textures?) What about skins?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated and I'm sorry if it's a stupid question. I have little Poser knowledge.

    Fabi uses a great many poser only shaders, generated in the Poser mat room so even the character skins will need a considerable amount of tweaking to work in DS.

    Bugger! I'm not so worried about the jewellery, I'm happy to change and tweak things as necessary but it's a shame about the skins. Thanks Chohole and I'm sorry about the posted link. I forgot about that....

    Bea and Aliwonder did DS mats for two of Fabi's characters, Turmaline and Bettina. Both of them are available at Rendo in Bea/Aliwonder's stores. :D
