a curious tea: eat me doesn't show up at all in DIM.
As you can see I haven't already got it in my download folder where I put my downloads.
Even if I try and click on download install for the individual components nothing comes into my DM. The drink me file did (although yesterday wouldn't download, but at least I coud see it, but today does) but not the eat me?

Is that picture from C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ManifestFiles ? If it is, it's the folder that contains the manifest file (.DSX) of each product that DIM has installed. It's not the download folder. The DIM settings, Installation tab will tell you the download folder path. Click on the gear icon in the upper left order to bring up the Settings screen. You need to know what the download folder is in order to install using the following manual method:

For whatever reason, which may be a glitch that needs to be addressed by DAZ since others have been reporting their DIM downloads are not appearing, you can go into your Product Library for the Curious Eat Me product and manually download the DIM installer(s). There are two for DS and one for Poser that appear at the top of the list. All three has a BLUE (manual) and GREEN (download and install) download buttons.

    1. Use the BLUE manual download button to download the DS and/or Poser installers.
    2. Place each download in your DIM download folder, again, check the DIM settings/installation tab for your download folder path.
    3. If DIM is open, hit the refresh button, or launch DIM.
    4. The product(s) should appear in Ready to Install tab.

Note: This product's installers was recently re-done and I don't believe the StudioCF file is needed for Daz Studio anymore. I testing this method of installing and I only downloaded the one DS installer and it appears to have all of the files that's needed for DAZ Studio.

As an alternative, you may want to just file a problem ticket and wait until the product shows up in DIM.

that particular problem yesterday has resolved. But the problem was that the download failed, and even using those manual installers for DIM didn't work. And the only way was to use those little blue ones which meant I had to run the old daz installers.
so that's what I did yesterday. now everything seems to be working okay again.

Did the downloads start and then sometime later you get the download failed message? Maybe there is something in the DIM log that will tell you what the problem it encountered.

Also, I'm curious, do you have DIM delete the .zip installers after they are installed? I don't so I have both .dsx and .zip file in my DIM download folder.

the download failed message was just about instant I think so I don't know if it failed or never go started.

Sounds like DIM couldn't access the download files... thanks for the info.
