Genesis 2 and V6 hiccups
I installed Genesis 2 from the Install Manager and purchased Victoria 6 Pro package. And purchased the morph bundles as well to get the other Norma to work completely. Everything seemed to work fine until I went to close the eyes on one of the models there were no parameters to open/close eyelids. Any movement in the eyes consisted of removing them from their sockets or from side to side. The lower jaw function was the same only one character or so would actually open their mouth the others the teeth would come out of their head separate of the body like the eyes. Even the Genesis 1 characters have been effected. Anybody have any ideas or are getting the same results? Have any suggestions to remedy this?

Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 are completely different figures, and one does not affect the other. I have G2 installed, and it has not affected my original Genesis at all. I can close the eyes using the morphs that I have Eyes Closed, Eyes Squint etc, and the work the same way as they always did.
I just tried with Genesis 2, and it has the same morphs, and they work as expected, Eyes Closed, Eyes Side-Side, Eyes Squint and Eyes Up-Down. Can you post an image of what you are seeing?
Do you have the head selected, or the entire figure? ...just a thought
Check to see if for some reason the sliders are hidden. Click on the little lines in the upper right corner of parameters window and click on show hidden parameters.
Did you select the eyes themselves or the head?
I believe the eye open shut parameters are on the head, under pose controls for the eyes.
I checked the Hidden properties in the Parameters and it didn't change anything. I did notice also that Expressions for Genesis made no difference when merged into the scene (some poses did but not the expressions). Here is a picture of the eyes coming out of socket. The only thing shown in the Parameters is (right eye, left eye it's not broken down any further than that).
When you select the 'Head' of Genesis 2 in the Scene pane OR the Parameters pane, you will see sliders for Open and Closing the eyes.
All you are looking at, is the list in the Parametes pane, not the sliders to the right of it. You MUST select the Head to see the morph sliders in the Parameters pane (not anywhere else) See the image below:
I rest Genesis Expressions and re-started DS and looked for the Parameters in the pics and found them.... they were not there a minute ago the sub categories didn't show up but I did get them back.... thanks so much for the help.
On second evaluation Genesis 2 and Victoria 6 and the other characters do not have the Pose Controls listed as the pic shows. Genesis 1 and Victoria 5, 4 etc. do have the pose function. The Genesis 2 only have down to the hidden tab and nothing below it.
I transferred all of my Genesis 1 morphs to Genesis 2, so that is probaly why.

Here is a couple of pics one of Victoria 6 without Pose Controls and one with Victoria 5 with Pose Controls
No problems on my own install, and I haven't transferred any Genesis 1 morphs...
Sounds like something isn't installed right. If a reinstall doesn't help, maybe time to raise a support ticket.
As Jabba says, a reinstall might help? There is obviously something wrong.
In the meantime, you could load a fresh Genesis 2, and then look in the Log file, Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File, to see if it turns up any clues as to what is missing.
I've loaded G2 a couple of times I'll look through the Log File and see what I can find...... but I have already placed a support ticket
Thanks very much Jimmy.... I checked the log file and found many repeated errors of no Base Morphs. I went to digging into the Daz 3D Studio folder and following the paths I finally found the folders for Genesis and Genesis 2 by comparing the two folders it seemed that Genesis 2 had no Base Folder only Morphs and UV. I had downloaded the Genesis 2 Essentials and had it on my computer so I went to digging in those folders to try to find the missing files. I did find them but I wasn't sure where to place them so I took a chance and merged them in to the Morph Folder and it added a couple of more folders. I started DS and it went to Genesis 1 at first (and all the Pose Controls were there) so I opened Norma (Genesis 2) and everything was in place Pose Controls and all. Thanks very much.... now I can go close my ticket.... but perhaps I should explain to them what I did because there has to be a bug somewhere in the installer.
Yes, that would be a good idea I think.
It seems to have worked for most people, so if it didn't work properly for you, there must be a reason. Give Support as many details as you can. I'm glad it is working for you now anyway, best wishes.
