Reading room creator - 3D artist - please read------>

edited December 1969 in The Commons

The artist is credited as 'Daz3D' so I'm assuming he/she doesn't want credit for the item or is a staff artist with Daz. I'd like to make a suggestion to them and am hoping a mod will direct their attention to this post.

Of all the interiors I have, this room is by far the most popular and has been pressed into use as pretty much everything from a small wedding chapel, high end office, elegant bedroom, fancy-schmancy restaurant and you name it. The only problem I have is that changing the layout is difficult and involves loading many copies of it, hiding parts and tedious arranging. I would love it....no, I'm begging! - please make this available as a sectional do-it-yourself collection of walls, windows and other bits. Make all wall panels half and double size so that they would fit together. Give me a few archways and ceiling posts. A few different ceilings such as flat and vaulted plus several window sizes and styles. Add a set of doors including a double door for that grand entrance. You could also make a few different mattes available.
A construction set like this could be tailored to a person's needs (and computer power) and allow many add-on sets to be sold.

Thanks for considering my suggestion.

    Judging by the sku number this is a quite old product and thus unlikely to be revisited.
    Lack of a PA name apart from DAZ 3D could also indicate that the PA who created it is no longer a vendor at DAZ 3D.

    I would love to see several of these rooms turned into construction sets as well.

    One thing I find myself using quite a bit for interiors is Maclean's Room Creator 2 set. It's not as fancy as the Reading Room but it's pretty versatile and you can use your own textures for the walls & floors to get some really nice looking rooms.

    Darn.....
    I'll have to wander over to the 'what would you like' forum and make a plaintive cry. Better yet, I'll visit Jack Tomalin's site and put a bug in his ear.
    Thanks anyway.

    Jack is on holiday at the moment, he does deserve a little time of methinks. :)
