"Godfrey & Tomalin" LOL :D
It looks great! :)
Looks Great. But I have to ask... York? My biggest worry is Godfrey and Tomlin sell WhiskEy
Inspired a bit by York, but moreso Guisborough (home town).
Whiskey/Whisky can be spelt both ways, one is Scottish and One is Irish. I went with Irish. Americans spell it with the E also.
Ah I've only be to York and the pictures did remind me allot of that. The company I work for get a bit touchy on the spelling, especially after they sold all their Irish Distilleries. I'm afraid I'll have to fix that texture or it will really bug me
I thought it best to use the E, best to please 2 groups than just 1.
Welsh whisky doesn't have the E So Ireland is the odd one out, England Scotland and Wales all agree there is no E.
As soon as I saw the name I thought of York.
York Shamles isn't quite like this. They have a distinguishable road and pathways either side, as well as overhanging buildings.
Lets not miss the point that this is a beautiful set!!! ; )
This looks great :)
Looks beautiful,
Shush Ant! You know full well it's all about the WhiskEy and the Rum!
I do agree with Ant though. This will be straight in my cart as soon as it hits the store.
Have you ever thought of providing a distillery to go with some of your other products. I know David will tell you it always rains here, but the do have a lovely location for their distillery http://penderyn.wales/
It all depends tbh. Sometimes items can be far to niche to be worth the effort in making in the first place. There's just not enough customers to buy and this is my full time job and I cannot afford to create something that may be a big risk and bomb unexpectedly.
It'll have to be something to think about, but no promises.
It’s beautiful :-)
Thank You.
I didn't realize that there is a distillery in Wales!
Actually there are several, but this one is the home of Welsh Whisky and is only a few miles from where I live.
Who is Godfrey? I'm probably the only one who doesn't know.
Lovely set, wonderful attention to details. Congrats on another beautiful job well done!
Actually, you're not the only one. I was wondering this myself. Tomalin I did get but not Godfrey. I wonder if Forbidden Whispers will now confess to ownership of the name?
Cheers,
Alex.
This is going to be so wondeerfully useful.
Mwhahahaha. It's my little secret... It's not my surname or Davids. My surname is 'Bird' and Davids is 'Brinnen'.... All I can say it's another PA.....
Just wanted to add a few extra renders to show you all...
That scream of dread and terror you heard just now was my bank card; I think the poor thing's hiding under the sofa again.
lol!
Glad you like the set.
This looks just...WOW! covered in Awesome Sauce and washed down with a nice whisk(e)y ... and Ah, BISTO!
Love the Poe references too
I'm a Bird too, but we spell it with a "y;" I hope that doesn't get me in trouble with the spellmasters. These renders look like photos! Are you including any promo scenes?
Yes, some of the promos are camera presets that are included.
You know, coming home from a rather stressfull evening job, I started strolling through the forums and this really made me happy the set, the whisk(e)y and the funny banter, keep doing it please :D
I didn't miss this releasing did I?
