OT: Vue 7 tuts?

waaaaaaaay back in '09 I bought Vue 7 Pro. I used it for a while and really loved it, even creating a few pics with it. Then I stopped using it.

I want to redownload it and try again, particularly as my comp is much better than back then.

But I've realized something - i have completely forgotten EVERYTHING about it. How to use it, how to load stuff, how to do lights, how to do materials....

Can anyone point me towards some easy step by step BEGINNER tuts for Vue 7 to start me off again?

You'll have to dig through the tutorials list in the Vue projects folders to see which tutorials in those may or may not work for V7.

rtfm? ... it did come with a 600-700 page manual, iirc... and the front few chapters were a basic "how to use"... again iirc <(^_^)</p>

Did you do a YouTube search on VUE 7? That is where I usually start for video tutorials.

what manual where? I didn't buy a boxed version - I bought a downloadable version. I can't see a link to a manual download anywhere.

ah that's it! I couldn't remember the name "geekatplay". Sheesh. I knew there were good ones there, but the name completely blanked on me. :D

Yeah, I bought the downloadable version too... in the "Vue 7 Infinite Install" directory tree (where the setup.exe and RenderCow Setup.exe and RenderNode Setup.exe are), if you look in Documentation/en/ do you not have a 27Meg "Vue 7 Reference Manual.pdf"... which is a 630-page extravaganza of information?
