I don't know the exact term, but I'm looking for a model of one of those flat four-wheel things with a handrail that you use in warehouses and such to move pallets, large crates and things like that. The version I'm thinking about has a flat metal panel on four wheels with a hand rail raising to about waist level (maybe two of them). It looks a bit like a hand truck except bigger. I know there's at least one Daz/Poser model of such a thing, having seen it in a render a while back, but I have no idea who made it. Anyone even know what I'm talking about? :P

Moved to the Commons because it is a request for, not an offer of, a freebie

    Scissor Lift?

I checked the store and couldn't find a palette jack here if that is what you mean. (There are no rails on palette jacks so perhaps not what you need either.) I suggested scissor lift because you mention it has guard rails. There was also a render a couple of months ago that in a RR render contest that featured a scissor lift so maybe this is the image you recall...had a person taking pictures from the top of the platform if I recall the image correctly. Fork lift and skid loader sound too far off of what you describe to be one of those.

No, not a scissors lift, and "guard rail" isn't correct either. Now that I'm fully awake and remembered to google for images, I found this one that gives a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for:

Another picture shows various types of hand trucks, the kind I'm talking about is in the upper left corner of the picture (the two varieties flanking the tire):

In short, it's just a plain hand-truck deal with a large flat platform and four wheels.

Those two items are precisely what I had in mind. Thank you!
