I've seen several topics about the new products from DAZ and was just wondering what are the strong points of the new characters rather than just their weaker elements. It's easy to criticize and say what you don't like about a product, so here's your chance to tell us what you think the strong selling points are.

I don't have V6 yet, but the base female is a much nicer-looking figure, and bending seems improved. The toes are independantly poseable, and there are a lot of expressions included (they're under 0Pose Controls on the Parameters tab). The full-body morphs (in the add-on set) seem better suited for females than similarly-named ones in Genesis.
I like the details you can see in G2 female. I can see better details in the knees and stomach and they show up well in a render bringing a nice touch to the artwork.
The arms and underarm, butt bend better than before as well.
I can't say much about the new characters for sale because I've only dial spun my own or loaded up some of my old ones. But even my old shapes have been able to take advantage of the improvements to the new G2 female improvements so that works for me.
I have been play with her a bit, I transfered genesis morphs into G2F via transfer utility tool. Only thing that bummed me out is issue with shoes. Genesis heel will not work for me as of yet. they act like V4 shoes auto-fitted to genesis, destroyed.
Anyway, this is G2F with genesis, G2F, and V4 morphs blended into her
Greetings,
Genesis 1's base female character was very...characterless, it seemed, which was perfectly appropriate given the morphability. Genesis 2 Female actually seems a little bit more personable, which I like. I've done a few renders with the base female with no morphs and I like it.
Also, the built-in inclusion of expressions was very nice!
The V4/G2F converter makes V4 items autofit G2F better than they autofitted Genesis, which is amazing.
